Jewelry Care Instructions

Tips to care for your jewelry

Most jewelry pieces, regardless of what they are made from can follow the same basic care instructions.

Properly Store Your Jewelry
The most common mistake is storing your jewelry in the bathroom, simply because it’s convenient. Keep your jewelry stored in a cool dry place that avoids moisture, chemicals, or body care products. A jewelry box lined with velvet works great and can help keep your pieces organized. Or try a ziploc bag with the air squeezed out.

Avoid Water
Don’t wear your jewelry when swimming, showering, or when you’ll be sweating on a hot day or working out. Water and sweat will tarnish your jewelry and quicken the oxidation process.

Clean Your Jewelry
Most often, you can take a polishing cloth and gently wipe your jewelry clean. When more is needed, it is typically safe to clean your jewelry with warm water and a mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
